Your First Visit
We will do everything to make you feel comfortable at your initial visit to our office. Please hand carry all pertinent records, referral information, insurance information, X-ray reports, and lab reports for the doctor to review during your visit. If you are seeing Dr. DuPont for frequent UTI's, please bring copies of urinalysis, urine cultures, and any imaging studies of the urinary tract (renal or pelvic ultrasound, CT scans, etc). If you are seeing Dr. DuPont for hematuria (blood in the urine), please bring copies of urinalysis reports and any imaging studies of the urinary tract (renal or pelvic ultrasound, CT scans, etc). You will need to complete a questionnaire detailing your current problems, medical history, list of medications, and medication allergies. This questionnaire, along with the registration forms, are available on this website or they can be filled out at the office (allow 15-20 minutes to complete the forms). After review of this information, a physical examination focused to your health concerns and a urinalysis will be performed. Further diagnostic testing may also be indicated during your first visit.

Office Philosophy
We specialize in combining medical expertise with listening to the patient, which improves diagnostic and treatment outcomes. Too often, patients are prescribed a litany of tests that are unnecessary. For example, most women who suffer from recurrent urinary tract infections do not need cystoscopy to evaluate this problem as the test is negative in the majority. Our practice specializes in compassionate, attentive care with the philosophy of treating each patient as if they were a family member. Dr. DuPont has completed two fellowships in addition to a residency program. Her fellowship at UCLA was with a world renowned surgeon who is considered the "Father of Female Urology." Similar to the experience of many other professional women, she has climbed the ladder of success through excellent training and the "school of hard knocks." Through the process, she has gained wisdom, patience, and a good sense of humor, in addition to her excellent surgical skills and judgement.

Cancellation Policy
It is very important that you keep your scheduled appointment. There is a fee for not providing the courtesy of cancellation notice.

When they talked about the golden years, they were not talking about the color of your pads!

Contrary to common belief, men and women have an equal incidence of overactive bladder. All you have to do is visit a golf course to realize that all those men in the woods are not there just looking for missing golf balls!

Urinary incontinence is not life threatening but it is quality of life threatening.

No one dies from urinary incontinence but your quality of life dies in proportion to the severity of the condition.

Seek Treatment: You have nothing to lose but your pads!
