Dr. DuPont is a board certified urologist who completed her medical school education at Georgetown University and her urology residency at the University of Wisconsin. Additionally, she is one of the few urologists who has completed two postgraduate surgical fellowships. At the University of Virginia, she completed a Neuro-Urology Fellowship and, at UCLA, she completed a Female Urology and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship with a world-renowned surgeon.
Dr. DuPont has been nominated as a "Top Doctor" locally and nationally in such consumer's magazines as Checkbook and Washingtonian, as well as by Castle Connolly Medical. She is involved in teaching activities, community and peer lectures, and training surgeons in specialized techniques. Surgeons have traveled from around the world to observe and learn her techniques.
Dr. DuPont is the first surgeon to perform the newer, minimally invasive, sling procedures for urinary incontinence in the Washington metropolitan area (TVT, TOT). Dr. DuPont has performed over 1000 sling operations. She also is a surgical technique innovator in the field of pelvic reconstructive surgery and has performed hundreds of prolapse repairs.
Dr. DuPont is recognized as one of this area’s top Urogynecologists. She is also the Director for the Center for Pelvic Floor Disorders at Sibley Memorial Hospital.
Dr. DuPont has admitting privileges at Suburban Hospital and Sibley Hospital.

She is a recipient of the Ferdinand C. Valentine Fellowship and the American Foundation of Urologic Disease Awards.
Dr. DuPont's practical experience includes military service as a urologist where she served as a Major in the U.S. Army. She received several medals of distinction during her service treating war casualties.
Upon return to the Washington, D.C., area, Dr. DuPont established private practice in Bethesda, Maryland. The office has recently located to Rockville, Maryland to alleviate traffic and parking issues for patients. An additional office location is now available in Chevy Chase, MD (5530 Wisconsin Ave., Ste 914).
Dr. DuPont's extensive training and experience has prepared her well to establish a center of excellence that provides compassionate and state-of-the-art diagnostic, medical and surgical care.
